That’s sure to be the sentiment surrounding this year’s Father’s Day campaign by Brooks Brothers.
The retailer enlisted three personalities—New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson, recently named as a Brooks Brothers brand ambassador, restaurateur Tyler Florence, and actor Bryan Greenberg—to be featured alongside their fathers or children.
Photographed by John Balsam, the campaign showcases candid moments of these men sharing laughter or tender moments, dressed in ensembles from the spring 2024 collection designed by Michael Bastian. The tagline, “Celebrating Dads Since 1818,” pays homage to the company’s founding year.
In one endearing moment captured in the campaign, Jalen Brunson and his father, Rich Brunson—himself a former NBA player and assistant coach—are seen wearing made-to-measure suits and sharing lighthearted jokes. Reflecting on their relationship, Jalen Brunson expressed gratitude for their strong bond, both on and off the court, as father and son, a connection he treasures deeply.
Tyler Florence was showcased alongside his two teenage children, all elegantly dressed in formalwear, including tuxedos from the 1818 label. The chef shared his Father’s Day tradition, expressing appreciation for receiving a new Brooks Brothers suit each year. He emphasized the importance of attire in shaping one’s appearance, adding that handwritten cards and breakfast of scrambled eggs in bed add to the special occasion.
In another heartwarming moment captured in the campaign, Bryan Greenberg was photographed alongside his 2-year-old son, both impeccably dressed in tailored pieces. Reflecting on fatherhood, Greenberg shared that the best part is living with a sense of purpose, which parenthood has instilled in him. Jalen Brunson
