Following Kendrick Lamar’s blistering debut diss track “Euphoria” earlier this week, the pgLang icon is intensifying the feud, drawing inspiration from Drake’s own tactics by releasing a follow-up track titled “6:16 in LA

Unveiled in the early hours of Friday morning (May 3), Lamar unleashes a torrent of accusations against Drake, suggesting that members of his OVO team may be disloyal. He raps, “Have you ever thought that OVO was working for me? / Fake bully, I hate bullies / You must be a terrible person / Everyone inside your team is whispering that you deserve it / Can’t Toosie Slide up out of this one, it’s just gon’ resurface

Lamar’s barrage persists as he accuses Drake’s associates of betraying him, stating, “100 n*ggas that you got on salary / and 20 of them want you as a casualty / and one of them is actually / is next to you / and two of them are practically tied to your lifestyle

With “Euphoria” amassing an astonishing 9.2 million Spotify streams on its debut day, Lamar’s decision to strike again has left fans eagerly anticipating a response from the OVO captain. Drake, appearing unfazed, casually shrugged off Lamar’s initial move by sharing a clip from the 1999 rom-com 10 Things I Hate About You on Instagram. However, during his appearance with Nicki Minaj at her Pink Friday Tour stop on April 30, Drake dropped a cryptic comment hinting at a potential retaliation: “You know what time it is — you know what I have to do.”
