Nataka Weather: Rain warning in Bengaluru soon? Check latest forecast Rainfall has reduced across Karnataka, with weather remaining dry in most parts of the state. However, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a forecast predicting rain and thundershowers in Belgaum and Chamarajanagar districts on Friday. Rest parts of the state are expected to experience dry air conditions as per Karnataka weather forecast

Rain forecast in Bengaluru: Good news for Bengaluru residents who might be yearning for respite from the heat. Many weather models are agreeing on the possibility of rain in India’s Silicon Valley and surrounding areas in early May

Meteorological models from the European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), ACCESS, GFS and CFS indicate the development of convergence over and around Bengaluru from May 1. The ECMWF has predicted rain on 3 May, while the GFS has predicted continuous rain. From 1st May and then from 6th May. Another weather model CFS also predicts rain on May 3.

Although these model predictions offer a glimpse of weather patterns, it is important to remember that weather predictions, especially for longer periods, involve inherent uncertainties. Factors such as sudden changes in atmospheric patterns or local weather events may alter the actual result. Therefore, it is important to exercise caution and adopt a “wait and see” approach with regard to the forecasted rainfall.

Temperature warning: There is a possibility of heat wave in coastal Karnataka. Temperatures are likely to rise over interior parts of Karnataka, with maximum temperatures likely to be 2-3 degrees above normal. On the other hand, coastal Karnataka is likely to face heat wave in isolated areas on April 26. Hot and humid weather conditions are expected to persist over coastal Karnataka till 28th.

Yellow alert issued for many districts IMD has issued yellow alert for Tumkur, Mandya, Davanagere, Chitradurga, Bellary, Yadagiri, Vijaypur, Raichur, Koppal, Kalaburagi, Gadag and Bagalkot districts. With intense sunshine expected in these districts, officials will be advised to take precautionary measures to avoid heat-related problems
